Keep watching.. will you be here when I decide its time for Eggie # 3? Dale, 10 am June 21st POSTSCRIPT: This photo was taken 3 minutes before egg 3 3 |
TechnOWLogy, meet The Parlor! Frustrating yet Hysterical evening for chatters as RockBuddy (**Rockbuddy is a Ustream Administrator**tm Hummerdad) communicated with Moderators to advise the Server had split five ways into next Sunday.. Chat found the same scroll repeated, over and over, or found themselves in a net sector with just certain chatters...
Moderators Angowleyez, Tweet, Couleedam repeatedly removed an Addelena's *poop-on-a-Stick* post.. (never thought a Troll would get a blog credit )
Not only could you pm yourself, you found yourself answering back fifteen minutes.
Roy decided to take advantage of the confusion by delivering several treats during the June Cosmic Split, adding to the confusion as some saw the treat delivered then, and some saw it fifteen minutes later! Hummerdad made himself Surrogate King of the Moderators, and StatOr made him a crown a sceptre! If you left chat, you returned to find your one hour posts rolling by...
Roy delivered at least five treats, not letting the Cosmic Chaos get in the way of Super Daddy Mode!
Will today bring another egg?! Stay tuned>

Roy and first night with the two eggs...
It is interesting that Roy shows occasional interest in the eggs. He even touched the eggs gently with his talons last night. It is interesting too, that other times he is just the opposite-- like one night he came in with Dale on a flyabout, took one look at the egg and turned and couldn't get out fast enough. The interest (by the male in the eggs) is not true in all the boxes-- for instance McGee has always been the notorious "quick in and quick out of the box" type of guy. I think that is one thing we have learned from watching so many owlboxes-- that things like this are individual behavioral differences in owl pairs and individuals. And, there is probably much more variation in behavior than has been indicated in previous studies etc. We could certainly start writing a "new book" with things we are seeing here at The Hideout!
